Description
Here's what I'm doing thumbnail wise for my sketch from yesterday and my one for today.
I have issues with paper. Paper in my mind is this almost sacred thing, particularly awesome paper. Even though I have stacks of it, it creates a mental block. Recently though, switching to 2H pencil and thumbnailing on the 100lb paper in the Strathmore Visual Drawing Journal, I'm getting past that fact, and getting some better layouts.
I just blew up the image and turned it into blue line for inking.
As for the writing, I end up writing notes on a lot of sketch pages. In this case I was writing something I wanted to tell my mom. It's funny how few teachers ACTUALLY do adjust for the students, which is why a lot of kids don't actually learn anything besides superficial memorization.
